At St. Mark Baptist Church, we believe that children are not just the future-they are the present, filled with promise, faith, and the light of God’s love. Every child is a precious gift, entrusted too us to guide, nurture, and uplift in the ways of the Lord.
We teach children that Jesus’ suffering wasn’t the end-it was the beginning of a new life for all of us. His love surrounds us everyday, reminding us to be kind, forgiving, and faithful.
As we walk through Holy Week together, we remember the incredible love sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This is the time to reflect, pray, and rejoice in the victory of His resurrection!
Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. As Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heavy belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19: 13-14
