We offer a variety of ministries and programs for all ages, including youth groups, Bible studies, and outreach programs. Our ministries are designed to help our members grow in their faith and serve others in our community.

Ministries
Woman Ministry
Sundays 9:00am & 11:00am
St Mark Women’s Ministry is committed to promoting a spirit of unity and authenticity among the women of Saint Mark and in the community. The purpose of the ministry is to help women discover God, as well to encourage ongoing spiritual growth. We provide opportunities for women to develop and strengthen one another through fellowship, study, and service activities.
Children’s Church
The purpose of the Children’s Ministry is to encourage and motivate children to stay actively involved in church activities. By coordinating, activities in conjunction with other children’s groups and ministries. Together we plan special days and offsite events to promote spiritual growth by God word. Our Youth Day is typically on the fifth Sunday in each calendar year.
Praise Dance Ministry
The Praise Dance Ministry focuses on people of all ages. The ministry provides opportunities for the people to share in worship experiences through hymns, well as contemporary gospel. The aide of the Holy Spirit within the church that foster spiritual growth and leadership skills.
Unity Day/Hospitality Ministry
Our mission is to reach the nations; teach, preach, and to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Getting and growing people in relationship with Jesus. As a group of God’s people, we care about you and your family. We’re here not only to feed you spiritually, but to help in any way we can. United we Stand.
Church Clerk
Sundays 9:00am & 11:00am
Assist the Pastor in serving the church as Secretary, Treasurer, and Clerk. He/she is directly supervised by the Pastor. He/she must work in harmony with the Pastor, the deacons, and the church staff, and the overall church family. This job description is not exhaustive and will require other duties as assigned. Deacon Ministry
The appointed Deacon must always act in guidance of the Holy Spirit. There are the biblical responsibilities for the office of Deacon, but the individual servant in the position should be in constant prayer for leading and guiding his duties specifically commanded for in God words. The Deacon must be in constant prayer in order to successfully and rightfully execute his duties. This close connection to the Heavenly Father assures that not only his overt actions are appropriate, but also that his motives are pure.
Culinary Ministry
The Kitchen Ministry faith based having personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Demonstrate a Servants Heart. Kitchen Ministry has good leadership skills induding handling conflict developing team members and desiring personal growth. Assist with recruitment of volunteers and take the lead on training them on standard operating procedure, equipment, and food safety guidelines. Responsibilities includes as follow; purchase food, maintain inventory of items in pantry, refrigerator, freezer and kitchen storage.
Young Adult (YAMS)
YAMS, we believe in the transformative power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We hold to the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, including the divinity and humanity of Christ. His sacrificial death and resurrection, by salvation. Our teachings are rooted in Scripture, we seek to live out our faith in a was that reflects Christ’s love, compassion, and grace. The committed to nurturing spiritual growth, fostering authentic relationships, and impacting the world around us through acts of service and evangelism.
Missionary Ministry
Missionaries go into a commumity to teach about Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. Missionary work depends on where the individual or group of missionaries are going (international or local communities). At the very least, a missionary’s first responsibility is to God, then to their church or mission’s.
Ushers Ministry
The skilfull usher helps to make this a reality for those in attendance. The ministry’s purpose is to assist the pastoral staff, to meet, greet and assist all who enter God house. The welcoming of an usher with a smile makes worshipping through the Holy Ghost fills everyone with joy felt long after they leave SMBC.
Choir Ministry
St Mark Baptist Church choir provide the bridge between congregation and choir. It has a vital ministerial function in the worship. Each song stirs up one’s spirit which moves throughout congregation even through the pulpit. It follows in the great Levitical tradition, having a role to play which cannot be duplicated by any other ministry-it is unique. To lead in the congregational singing of hymns, choruses, and spiritual songs.
