Theme: “Clothed With Strength and Dignity”
Scripture: “Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” — Proverbs 31:28
We joyfully announce a special Mother’s Day Celebration to be held on May 20, 2026 at St. Mark Baptist Church. This cherished occasion is set aside to honor, appreciate, and celebrate the love, strength, and dedication of mothers and mother figures within our church and community.
According to the Word of God, mothers are called to walk in love, wisdom, and faith, nurturing their families in the ways of the Lord. The Bible reminds us that a virtuous woman is clothed with strength and dignity, teaches kindness and wisdom, and guides her household with care (Proverbs 31). Mothers are entrusted with the responsibility of training their children in the way they should go and instilling godly values that will shape generations (Proverbs 22:6; Deuteronomy 6:6–7).
This meaningful service will be a time of celebration, reflection, and gratitude as we honor the vital role mothers play in God’s divine plan. All are warmly invited to join us as we give thanks to God for mothers and uplift them through love, encouragement, and fellowship.
